What crankshaft is made of
A shaft with cranks that turns the stroke of the pistons into rotation.
- Ball bearing — has part. The main journals of the shaft are bearings (in combustion engines usually plain bearings).
- Torque — uses. It turns the stroke of the pistons into torque.
- Steel — is made of. A crankshaft is forged from steel.
