Produces current directly from the reaction of hydrogen with oxygen (Grove).
- Proton exchange membrane — a pour partie. It lets protons through, but not electrons.

- Cathode — a pour partie. A cathode for oxygen.
- Hydrogen — utilise. The fuel is hydrogen.
- Réaction électrochimique — utilise. The reaction runs electrochemically, without combustion.
- Catalyse — utilise. A platinum catalyst.
- Platinum — est fait de. A platinum catalyst.
