- Tungsten filament — tiene como parte. A tungsten coil heated by current.
- Glass light bulb envelope — tiene como parte. A glass bulb with a vacuum or inert gas.
- Screw lamp base — tiene como parte. A screw contact (the Edison base).
- Efecto Joule — utiliza. The filament is heated by current until it glows.
- Vacío — utiliza. The bulb was evacuated so the filament would not burn out.
- Tungsteno — está hecho de. A tungsten filament (since 1904–1910).
- Vidrio — está hecho de. The glass bulb keeps a vacuum or inert gas so the filament does not burn out.
