What LED lamp is made of

A lamp built on white LEDs.

• Blue LED — has part. White light comes from a blue chip and a phosphor.
• Rectifier — has part. The driver in the base rectifies mains current and limits the LED current; in an ordinary bulb it has no transformer.
• Heat sink — has part. LEDs get warm, so the lamp has an aluminium heat sink.
• Gallium nitride — is made of. The chips are gallium nitride.
• Aluminium — is made of. The radiator is aluminium.
