Woraus mechanical clock besteht
A clock with a weight or spring, an escapement and a gear train.
- Gear — hat als Teil. A gear train counts seconds, minutes and hours.
- Hemmung (Uhrwerk) — hat als Teil. The escapement releases energy in portions and sets the rhythm.
- Iron — ist hergestellt aus. Medieval clocks were iron.
