Objects made of fired clay.
- Ceramic glaze — a pour partie. A vitreous coating.
- Sand temper — a pour partie. Sand or grog so the vessel does not crack in firing.
- Kiln — utilise. Firing in a kiln makes clay strong.
- Potter’s wheel — utilise. The wheel made shaping vessels faster and more even.
- Fire making — utilise. The first pottery was fired right in a campfire.
- Argile — est fait de. Vessels are shaped from clay.
