1. Step 1. Yacht — has part — Sail. Sails.
2. Step 2. Sail — is part of — Windmill. A windmill’s sails are cloths on rotating arms.
3. Step 3. Windmill — has part — Gear. A gear turns the rotation towards the millstones.
4. Step 4. Gear — is part of — Milling machine. A gear train drives the feed.
5. Step 5. Milling machine — evolved into — CNC machine. The first CNC machines were milling machines (MIT, 1952).
