Elektroauto
Gerät · 1881 · Elektrisches Zeitalter
A car driven by an electric motor powered by an on-board battery. Trouvé’s three-wheeled electric vehicle (1881) is older than Benz’s combustion car; modern mass-market models use lithium-ion batteries.
Kurze Geschichte
Was daraus hervorging: Self-driving car (2009).
Woraus es besteht
- Elektromotor — hat als Teil. One or more electric motors turn the wheels.
- Traction battery — hat als Teil. Energy is stored in the traction battery.
- Reduction gear — hat als Teil. A single-speed reduction gear usually replaces the gearbox.
- Autobremse — hat als Teil. Besides regeneration, ordinary friction brakes are needed.
- Suspension — hat als Teil. The suspension is the same as in an ordinary car.
- Pneumatic tyre — hat als Teil. An electric car’s wheels have pneumatic tyres.
- Inverter — hat als Teil. An inverter powers the traction motor.
- Induction motor — hat als Teil. The Tesla Model S had an induction motor.
- Neodymium magnet — hat als Teil. Synchronous traction motors use neodymium magnets.
Prinzipien und Materialien, die es nutzt
- Regenerative braking — nutzt. When braking, the motor works as a generator and returns energy to the battery.
- Ladestation — nutzt. It charges at charging stations.
